More than 105 new & updated apps in HubSpot’s Marketplace
HubSpot is constantly expanding its potpourri of 1,700 apps - broken down by Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Productivity, Finance and Commerce - and these are the most notable additions:
LinkedIn CRM Sync Integration. Both sales and marketing professionals are now able to enjoy the LinkedIn Sales Navigator and LinkedIn Ads experience directly into HubSpot.
Microsoft Clarity. This free user behavior analytics tool launched 4 years ago can now be used directly from HubSpot to keep a close eye on your website’s users journey, identify pain points, and understand their behavior in real time.
Zoom. We have the possibility to add meeting participants to HubSpot contact records so that all the notes and activities are accurately synced.
Microsoft Teams. Have you ever planned to synch Microsoft Teams webinar info to HubSpot? As of June, 2024, we can add to our records all webinar data, including registrations, attendees, cancellations, no-shows or, attendance duration.
Salesforce. This integration has been available for a long time, but now we are able to filter by all available Salesforce fields what we’d like to import to HubSpot.
Slack. We can now synch our HubSpot help desk workspace to Slack to improve cross-collaborative ticket resolution, such as ticket reply processes.
6sense conversational email is now available. Marketing teams are able to take advantage of their 6sense terrific email marketing capabilities directly from HubSpot.
ClickUp. Workflow actions are now available for all ClickUp objects, for a much easier coordination of projects and automation of repetitive or manual tasks.
Docusign. We are now able to create and send Docusign envelopes without leaving HubSpot and also import historical Docusign envelopes.
Zapier’s custom objects are supported, so we can now handle various automations and workflows where we need to create, change or interact with custom object data.
Apps accessible inside HubSpot Workflows
Have you ever started a workflow and found yourself in need of a new app in the middle of the job? As of June 2024, these are a click away in a side panel!
By default, the apps sorted based on relevance.
Sunsetting the any-stage funnel report
Starting October 17, 2024, customers can no longer edit, view, or access legacy 'any-stage' filter funnel reports. HubSpot abandons this feature because this type of reports were not conclusive in terms of leads moving through different stages, next-step conversion rates, cumulative conversion rates, or total conversion rates.
Marketers are still able to create comprehensive funnel reports using the lifecycle stage data and can mark any middle stage as optional.
Renewal Center Redesign.
HubSpot restyled its renewal center and also added an improved overview of the renewal process. We are now able to compare the renewal options, get a quote with the new subscription terms or schedule a meeting with your Contract Manager.
AI Reports.
HubSpot introduced AI Assistant Report Builder, but this feature only supports Single Object reports, not Multi-Object ones, Customer Journey reports, Funnels, Attribution, comparisons, calculations or custom objects.
Marketers can create AI-assisted reports both from the Report Library and the Dashboard sections, but they need to clearly what they’d like to achieve. However, several basic suggestions are available if one is not experienced with this type of inquiries.
Create, organize, and apply tax rates across all tools such as Quotes, Deals, Payment links, Invoices, and Subscriptions
Still on the reports side, all users are now able to create, organize and apply tax rates on individual line items across Quotes, Deals, Payment links, Invoices, and Subscriptions sections.
View, organize, and respond to SMS messages
The Marketing SMS Replies feature has been hugely upgraded, so now we can intake, triage, troubleshoot, respond to, and resolve customer inquiries directly in HubSpot. It’s essential to keep in mind that we can only send SMS messages from US-based numbers and only to US/Canada (+1) numbers.
Quick create feature for new contacts, companies, deals, and tickets
We can now easily create new items in the contacts, companies, deals and tickets sections by pressing the + button placed right beside the search bar regardless of where we are in HubSpot at any given moment.
This should hugely improve efficiency for the marketers who need to complete several tasks in the same time.
The "New to you" option in the Product Updates section
It’s always challenging to follow-up with a product update, so HubSpot made it easier for admins to spot what’s important for their organization by adding a "New to you" tab in the Product Updates section.
Select unique sounds for every notification
Not everyone likes sound notifications, but those who find them helpful have 6 different sounds as their default sound for desktop notifications.
However, users can also set a unique sound for email or chat.
A Unified Record Page Editor
Marketers and managers will most likely love the option of customizing records in one place, and not wasting time going through four separate settings pages to configure the different parts of the record.
This update will hugely help teams to deliver a better customer experience, as they’ll have access to a quick holistic perspective.
If you are a HubSpot admin, this is how you can customize the record page:
- Navigate to the Record Customization tab in Settings.
- Select "Default view" to customize the view for all users.
- Select "Create team view" to customize the view for specific teams (Professional+ tiers).
Content & Styles Breakdown of Module Side Panel in Email
The email editor has been updated with content and style options to make it easier for marketers to create or edit the templates.
Invoice generation directly from the line items page within Deals
Managing a deal from creation to transaction is no easy task, especially when multiple invoices are involved. Invoice generation directly from line items within deals should help streamline the internal processes and give a better perspective on the state of current affairs.
Default email to send invoices from Commerce Hub
Until June 2024, invoices could only be sent by the salespeople. Now, managers can set up a different default email address which invoices will be emailed from. The default email address can be a team email address or a personal email address.
Attach invoice PDFs to emails
The only way for Sales teams to send invoices directly from HubSpot was by using a link. As of July 2024, emails will automatically include an attached PDF version of the invoice document.
However, one should be aware of the fact that selecting "Write email manually" will not automatically attach the desired pdf file.
Personalized Search Results for Companies
There is some good news for those who handle multiple companies with similar names or properties! As of June 2024, HubSpot made it easier for users to spot the companies one has recently clicked on the most during the last 60 days to the top, even if other companies have names or properties that match one’s search term.
Clicks beyond 60 days are not taken into account.
All you have to do is just press Cmd/Ctrl+K to kick off Global Search and start searching.
Our Macro MarTech experts have already embraced these updates for their day-to-day activities and would love to hear your opinions on any of these! Which one is your favourite?
